From Stockton, California, Kara Uchizono as distinguished herself as the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Waltz Queen and the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. in June of 2025 she performed as Princess Florine, as the Golden Vine Fairy, the Enchanted Garden Fairy and as Cinderella in The Sleeping Beauty, as well as offically covering the lead role of Princess Aurora.

Kara joined Central West Ballet in 2017. She has performed the Gypsy Duet in René Daveluy's Dracula, in Starboard from Pirates, in The Hero, the Villain, the Damsel and the Train from Cowboys, as well as many other lead roles in The Nutcracker and as a Gypsy Sugar Rum in Nutcracker in Jazz (choreographed by Nicole Firpo Felver). Kara has performed in many Creations repertory programs, most notably in Beneath Existence, Rattlin' Roarin' Willie in House of Folk and the in Firebird Trio from 1001 Nights. In 2023, Kara Uchizono performed the lead role of Tinker Bell in Peter Pan. Kara has also made her mark in Pirates and Cowboys, Cinderella and in René Daveluy and Jan Clark Fugit's Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
